Categories are managed from Catalog → Categories
A category is an organizational unit to which you assign your products. When viewing your store, customers will click on a category to view products that have been assigned to that category. You can also create subcategories within your category.

Categories are essential for organizing your products and providing a clear navigation structure for your customers. They act as containers for your products, allowing customers to browse and find what they're looking for easily.
Hierarchical Structure: You can create parent categories and subcategories (nested categories) to create a logical hierarchy for your products. For example, you might have a parent category "Clothing" with subcategories like "Shirts," "Pants," and "Shoes."
Product Assignment: Creating a category doesn't automatically add products to it. You must assign products to categories separately when you create or edit products.
