Install via marketplace

Installing extensions through the AbanteCart Marketplace is the most streamlined method. It allows you to seamlessly browse, purchase, and install extensions directly from your admin panel.

Connecting Your Store to the Marketplace:

Before you can install extensions from the Marketplace, you need to connect your AbanteCart store to your AbanteCart Marketplace account. This establishes a link between your store and the Marketplace, enabling automatic installation and updates. Look for a "Connect" button within the Extensions → Get Extensions section of your admin panel. You'll need your Marketplace account credentials (email and password).

Steps to Install via Marketplace:

1. Connect to Marketplace (if not already connected): As described above.

2. Navigate to My Extensions: After connecting your store, go to Extensions → Get Extensions. You should see a link labeled "My Extensions". This section lists all the extensions you've previously purchased on the Marketplace.

3. Browse or Search for Extensions (if purchasing new): If you're looking to purchase a new extension, you can browse or search the Marketplace directly from the Get Extensions Manager.

4. Install:

   • Previously Purchased: In the "My Extensions" list, find the extension you want to install. Compatible extensions (those that work with your AbanteCart version and licensed domain) will have an "Install" button. Click it.

   • New Purchase: If you purchase a new extension from the Marketplace while connected, the installation process will be initiated automatically after the successful purchase. You will be redirected to the Install Extension with a prefilled purchase key to confirm the installation.

5. Follow Instructions: After clicking "Install," follow any on-screen instructions. The installation process is usually automatic, but you might need to confirm certain settings or agree to terms.
