Content Pages List
The content management system is another feature of the AbanteCart shopping cart software. Using this feature, you can create your own information topics, such as help pages or your company history. The topics will be listed automatically in the ‘Information’ box of your storefront.
- To remove a content page click on the delete button
- To change Parent Content click Edit
- To edit a content page click on the edit button
- To add a new topic use the + button
Add Content Page
Status: MUST be "ON" for the page to appear in your store. The Status allows you to disable the content page from being shown on your site without having to delete it.
Parent Content Page: Here you can set the content you are currently adding to be a sub-page of another
Content Title: the title of content, displayed in the storefront
Description: content descriptive text you want to appear on the storefront
Meta Tag Keywords: provides metadata about the HTML document. Metadata will not be displayed on the page but will be machine parsable
Meta Tag Description: provide a concise summary of the webpage. Usually appear in a search engine results page
SEO Keyword: The SEO Keyword is important for the proper indexing of your online store by the various search engines. Click Generate button for auto-generate. See how to Enable SEO URLs
Content: content text or HTML you want to display on the storefront.
Stores: select store where a content page will be displayed; Read more about multistore set up in this article
Sort Order: Sort Order set's the order of which the page will be displayed amongst others.
Once the new content page was created it will automatically appear in sitemap page and default template footer. In addition, you can create a new menu item and link it to the content page
Related settings
Account Terms: select content page to be an account term to forces guests customers to agree to terms before an account can be created. System → Settings → Checkout
Checkout Terms: select content page to be a checkout policy to forces people to agree to terms before a customer can checkout.
