Email Activation for New Customers
Go to System → Settings → Checkout
It is a security feature that requires new customers to verify their email address before they can fully access their accounts
How it Works:
Registration: When a new customer registers on your store, they provide their email address.
Activation Email: AbanteCart automatically sends an email to the customer containing an activation link.
Account Verification: The customer must click on the activation link within the email to verify their email address and activate their account.
Account Access: Once the email address is verified, the customer can log in and start shopping.
If "Email Activation" is enabled, it's recommended to disable the "Review New Registrations" setting, as both features serve similar security purposes and enabling both can lead to unnecessary delays in customer registration.
Ensure your store's email settings are correctly configured to ensure activation emails are delivered to customers' inboxes.
