Shipping and Tax Estimate

Go to System → Settings → Checkout

When this feature is enabled, a dedicated Estimator block appears on the shopping cart page.

This block allows customers to get a preview of their estimated shipping costs and taxes based on their location, giving them a clear view of the final potential cost before they proceed to the full checkout process.

Important Note on Tax Calculation:

The Estimator block will not be shown on the cart page if the Avalara AvaTax extension is enabled and configured for automatic tax calculation. In this scenario, AvaTax manages the tax calculation, and the dedicated estimate block is suppressed.
