Order Status

Go to System → Settings → Checkout

This setting determines the default status assigned to orders when they are processed. For more information on available order statuses, refer to System → Localization → Order Status.

Important Notes:

Payment Method Settings: This setting cannot override the internal order status settings of specific payment methods. Many payment methods have their own configurations for successful or unsuccessful order statuses.
Avoid Removing Default Statuses: Be cautious when creating or modifying order statuses. Never remove the default statuses, as they might be used by extensions or other system components.
