Review New Registrations
Go to System → Settings → Checkout
This setting in AbanteCart provides an extra layer of security by requiring manual approval for all new customer accounts.
How it Works:
Customer Registration: When a new customer attempts to register on your store, they will be required to submit their information.
Admin Approval: Instead of immediate account activation, the new customer account will be placed in a pending state. You, as the store administrator, will need to manually review and approve the registration request within the AbanteCart admin panel.
Account Activation: Once you approve the registration, the customer will receive a confirmation email and their account will become active.
Benefits:
Increased Security: Helps prevent fraudulent registrations and reduce the risk of spam accounts.
Manual Control: Gives you control over who can become a registered customer on your store.
Fraud Prevention: Allows you to review customer information and identify any suspicious registrations.
It is recommended to disable this setting if you have enabled Email Activation
Ensure that you review pending registrations promptly to avoid delaying customer access to your store.
