Base Currency

Go to System → Settings → Store Details

This is the primary currency used for all stores. Avoid changing this setting unless you fully understand the potential consequences, as it can impact pricing, calculations, and other financial aspects of your store.

Changing of base currency will not change your base prices for products.

Changing the base currency may require reviewing and adjusting all product prices. The base currency exchange rate (found in System → Localization → Currencies) will be set to 1.0000, and exchange rates for other currencies will be adjusted accordingly.

Remember to clear your browser cache and log back into the administration panel after making changes.
