Default Tax Class

Go to System → Settings → Store Details

This setting allows you to select the tax class that will be automatically assigned to any newly created product.

• This setting only affects products created after the default tax class is set.

• Existing products will retain the tax class they were previously assigned; they are not updated when this default is changed.

This ensures that all new items are correctly categorized for tax purposes without requiring manual assignment.
